Weekly Programs

Every Monday- 4pm - 7pm Drop-in: safe space providing snacks, games, and opportunities to connect with peers in a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment. Open to middle school and high school ages; all 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies welcome!
Every Thursday, 4pm-5:30pm: Youth led project to disrupt the oppressive systems while learning how to be social justice advocates. Drop-in safe space providing snacks, games, and opportunities to connect with peers in a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment. Open to middle school and high school ages all 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies welcome!
Monthly: Monthly events and community outtings are part of Rainbow Youth Rising. Events and outtings look like bowling, ice skating, camping, movie nights, Halloween Lockin's, New Years Lockin's, etc.! Keep an eye out on our socials for them! Age ranges change for different events!

Every Wednesday from 4pm-6pm:
This space is for transgender, gender questioning, nonbinary, and gender expansive youth ages middle school and high school. Tea Time is a space to get support, advice, and to be in community with other gender expansive folks!

Pride Creates Every Thursday from 5:30pm -7pm:
Pride Creates is a therapeutic group that uses art as a processing medium. Open to middle and high school ages but please email kat.d@rainbowyouthcenter.org if you would like to attend!

Currently, RYC has two rolling DND campaigns, running on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm for middle/highschool and young adult ages.
The two campaigns alternate Wednesdays every other week!

Every Saturday 11am-7pm:
Starting in October, these will be strictly drop-in hours for young adults aged 18 to 24. RYC offers a safe and sober space for young adults with areas to study, hang out, socialize, and more! Questions about the new program? Email Kat Dicken at kat.d@rainbowyouthcenter.org

RYC provides Free Individual counseling for youth ages 12 to 24. Because of demand, there may not be availability, but we can help you find services!

RYC's mentorship program connects experienced Queer folks with youth that helps support development and engage in prosocial activities. Along with compensating mentors, a monthly stipend is provided to facilitate and nurture the relationship. Mentee's should be under age 24 to qualify but we have mentors as young as 17! Our mentors are Queer, resilient, empathetic, and passionate. Does that sound like you? Email kat.d@rainbowyouthcenter.org if you're interested in getting a mentor -- or becoming one!

Open to ages 5 - 11 for those identifying as transgender, gender fluid/ queer or gender non-binary and their families. The children play and connect while the parents/families engage. Parents that have older children may attend the adult support group
